Financial Information

• In the course of providing a service to you, Tall Story may ask for financial information (Bank account details, credit card details etc.). Such information will be treated with the upmost privacy, will be stored and encrypted on the payment processor systems, which will only be communicated across a secure link and will not be provided to any third parties except where necessary to provide Payfast’s payment service to you.

Tracking & Cookies Data

• We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.
• Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

Activity Log

• This feature only records activities of a site’s registered users, and the retention duration of activity data will depend on the site’s plan and activity type.
• Data Used: To deliver this functionality and record activities around site management, the following information is captured: user email address, user role, user login, user display name, WordPress.com and local user IDs, the activity to be recorded, the WordPress.com-connected site ID of the site on which the activity takes place, the site’s Jetpack version, and the timestamp of the activity. Some activities may also include the actor’s IP address (login attempts, for example) and user agent.
• Activity Tracked: Login attempts/actions, post and page update and publish actions, comment/pingback submission and management actions, plugin and theme management actions, widget updates, user management actions, and the modification of other various site settings and options. • Data Synced: Successful and failed login attempts, which will include the actor’s IP address and user agent.

Contact Form

• Data Used: Elementor forms is enabled on the site. The contact form submission data — IP address, Post Meta, user agent, name, email address, website, and message — is submitted to the internal database. The actual submission data is stored in the database of the site on which it was submitted and is emailed directly to the owner of the form (i.e. the site author who published the page on which the contact form resides). This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, website, and message.

WooCommerce Services

• Data Used: For payments with PayFast: purchase total, currency, billing information.
• For taxes: the value of goods in the cart, value of shipping, destination address.
• For checkout rates: destination address, purchased product IDs, dimensions, weight, and quantities.
• For shipping labels: customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products.

Use of Data

Tall Story uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To notify you about changes to our Service
• To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
